was had by all!

NOW ENROLLING THROUGH OCTOBER

Do you live in the state of georgia and have a 3 - 6 year old with Spina Bifida?

Little is known about the natural history of Spina Bifida. This information is very important and needed to inform guidelines and recommendations for families with a child with Spina Bifida.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are recruiting families from GA with a 3-6-year old child born with Spina Bifida to participate in a research project about the natural history of Spina Bifida.

We value your input and would like to speak with you.

No invasive procedures involves. Compensation provided.

For more information or to enroll, please call Debra Cipriano at 1-800-423-1164.

Many thanks to those families who have already participated.

Find out more about Spina Bifida, the roll of folic acid in prevention, and the Spina Bifida Association of Georgia.  This short video highlights the heart of the association and the people we serve.  All photos were provided by families right here in Georgia living with Spina Bifida.

Thank you to Impact Productions, LLC for donating this video to the association.

 Ride for E.J.!

Thanks to everyone in Centralhatchee, Georgia.  The Ride for EJ was a huge success.  This small community with a huge heart raised over $2800.  About 25 riders participated in the 50 mile ride.  There was a 50/50 raffle, blue grass gospel music and plenty of cold lemonade for everyone.  Emmett Jackson's grandson EJ was stillborn due to complications from Spina Bifida one year ago and he created an opportunity for his friends and community members to learn about Spina Bifida and help raise money for awareness and prevention.
